![]() ![]() There is just something amiss and I honestly can’t really pinpoint what I actually dislike about it but I just don’t like it. There is always something that will take me off guard and I never know what to expect in the next chapter to the next chapter and so on. I have to put it out there that this story is unpredictable at best. In the beginning, it feels nice to read about the familiar characters who always have something up to their sleeves but gradually, my interest starts to dwindle down. The Man Who Died Twice by Richard Osman is another tale that follows The Thursday Murder Club as they solve a mugging, stolen diamonds and just like the title, the man who died twice. Can The Thursday Murder Club find the killer (and the diamonds) before the killer finds them? And if they find the diamonds too? Well, wouldn’t that be a bonus?īut this time they are up against an enemy who wouldn’t bat an eyelid at knocking off four septuagenarians. His story involves stolen diamonds, a violent mobster, and a very real threat to his life.Īs bodies start piling up, Elizabeth enlists Joyce, Ibrahim and Ron in the hunt for a ruthless murderer.
